Take in the fabulous view through the full height hall window across the Devon countryside, with Exmoor National Park in the distance.
From the entrance hall a turning staircase rises to the galleried games area. The games area includes a 43 inch TV, Xbox 360 Games console and a large selection of games. A table football and a great selection of toys, games and books ensures everyone is entertained on a rainy day.
This leads into the open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area, which is a spectacular full height room and three sets of French doors opening to a wide balcony with large balustrade and breathtaking views. The main feature of this stunning space is the large wood burning stove, a warming backdrop for games and movie nights on the 55 inch smart TV with complimentary Netflix.
The dining space offers a large bespoke table, benches and chairs with seating for up to 16 guests (plus 2 children). An extremely well equipped kitchen offers all the amenities of a modern home kitchen, with the bonus of crockery, cutlery, glassware, serving and cooking facilities for large groups.
The kitchen includes a lovely range of base cupboards with solid oak worktop, a double fan oven, four ring induction hob, double butler sink, 4 slot toaster, large slow cooker and dishwasher. Every group receives our lovely welcome basket.

Outside spaces
Set in a secluded position in the heart of the Devon Countryside between Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, North Lake Chapel is a beautifully converted five bedroom chapel, dating from 1860.
Panoramic views a can be enjoyed from almost every window of the chapel. Whatever the season, the views are spectacular.
The courtyard garden is a secluded space with the added luxury of a large hot tub. Make unforgettable memories stargazing under the night sky. Alfresco dining and BBQ’s in the warmer months are also a must at the chapel. A large fire pit with plenty of seating will keep you warm on those chilly evenings, perfect for bonding over hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows.
A balcony runs the length of the main living space providing panoramic views of Exmoor and Dartmoor and breathtaking sunsets throughout the seasons. There is bistro seating on the balcony to relax with a quiet morning coffee or evening drinks.

In detail
In our unique upside down chapel, you will find 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the ground floor.
Our largest bedroom, the Stable Room, leads directly onto the courtyard garden. Three bedrooms have French doors leading to a covered decking area with countryside views. A delightful spot to sip a quiet morning coffee with a good book.
We can accommodate up to 16 guests (plus 2 children) as follows:
Bedroom 1 en suite: King bed, 3 single beds. Sleeps 6.
Bunk beds: Bunk beds are 2’6″ size (suitable for children only). Sleeps 2.
Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (full size singles). Sleeps 2. Bedroom 3: Double bed. Sleeps 2.
Bedroom 4: Double bed, 2 single beds. Sleeps 4.
Bedroom 5 en suite: Double bed, single bed. Sleeps 3.
