In the heart of Devon
North Lake Chapel is situated in the heart of the unspoiled, rolling countryside of mid Devon.
Near to the small village of East Worlington in the Little Dart Valley and between the small town of Chulmleigh and the village of Witheridge, both of which possess a good selection of local amenities including shops, cafes, pubs and takeways.
Large supermarkets and a wide range of shops and amenities can be found in both Crediton and Tiverton (both 25 mins by car), and Barnstable (50 min drive).

Walks on our doorstep
We have explored a number of lovely walks in the immediate vicinity of North Lake Chapel (no car needed!), details of which are enclosed in the Welcome Folder at the chapel.
The original Two Moors Way spans 102 miles from Ivybridge on the southern boundary of Dartmoor National Park to Lynmouth on the North Devon Coast in Exmoor National Park, and passes North Lake Chapel along the road in Witheridge.
Eggesford Forest is home to the very first trees planted by the newly created Forestry Commission in 1919 within Flashdown Wood, find walking trails, dog walking and picnic areas.
